# UI5 Service

> wdio-ui5-service is a 3rd party package, for more information please see [GitHub](https://github.com/js-soft/wdi5) | [npm](https://www.npmjs.com/package/wdio-ui5-service)

`wdi5` (/vdif5/) is a [`Webdriver.IO`](https://webdriver.io) service (think: extension), utilizing [`UI5`’s test API](https://ui5.sap.com/#/api/sap.ui.test). It is used for end-to-end tests of a UI5 web-application.
